Amazing!! submitted by mararita on March 30, 2009, 10:25am This book is incredible! Wow! it's not a cheesy, stupid romantic book, where the whole plot revolves around the girl getting the guy or the guy getting the girl (I don't hate those type of books, but it seems that that is all people write about these days-it gets boring and repetitive). This books has adventure and action and the heroine isn't a wimp either, she's got a tons of determination, spunk, and fire in her. She's a really interesting chararacter. The plot has quite a few twists and turns in it, keeps you on your toes!

Promising, but so-so writing submitted by elfchild9 on June 26, 2011, 9:28pm This book had a fun plot and showed a lot of promise, but the author has a lot of room for improvement. Her writing (especially dialogue) could use some work, and some parts felt like they had been ripped straight out of The Lord of the Rings or other popular fantasy novels. That being said, it's a good start for a first novel, and it kept me entertained. I hope Kristen Britain keeps growing as an author.

great first novel submitted by ersmith.maps on July 22, 2012, 6:47pm Each time I reread this book, I am impressed at the intriguing and complex plot and world that Britain has created and thirst for more of the story.
