Interesting Facts submitted by monkk on June 24, 2014, 9:21pm This book is a bit racy, probably not for kids. But it has some interesting facts in it, the one that has stuck with me is how the different kinds of taste buds (sour, salt, sweet, etc.) are all over your tongue and not in the areas I remember being taught in school. My dad loves weird fact books like this so I will probably get it for him for Christmas.

Funny and Interesting submitted by Beth Manuel on July 17, 2014, 1:46pm This book had a lot of funny and curious tidbits of odd facts. I didn't get to read the whole thing yet, but what I did read was reminiscent of Cracked magazine. Lots of potty humor written in a wry style.

Thin ol' fact book submitted by ALEXPHERRERO on July 29, 2016, 9:04am My book group got away with using this as our in-class reading, and it was hilarious. This is the kind of book that makes reading fun. That said, it is also quite astonishing how much a book mostly intended for laughs can teach a person. To paraphrase the authors, its purpose is to debunk myths commonly taught in the school system. Though I luckily wasn't taught many of these myths over the course of my education, I can see why many of these would be taught, and regardless, the clever staff of Cracked.com managed to integrate the facts into a book of pure humour. No page of this book is dry, but as a disclaimer, it lacks the slightest trace of political correctness, so may future readers consider themselves warned!
