Amazing submitted by jmock on July 28, 2012, 3:35pm This is a history book, yet it was completely fascinating. Besides, Lincoln isn't a vampire slayer, so that made it a hundred times better for me.

By the way, he dies in the end

Interesting submitted by tassosv on August 31, 2012, 9:40pm Interesting historic book, very engaging.

Don't Trust It submitted by susan nenadic on September 29, 2014, 3:25pm A friend gave me this book since I am a historian. I was shocked to find that the author had not really researched John Wilkes Booth. There are several excellent biographies that could have provided source material.

Even more shocking was the fact that the author is attributing thoughts to the characters without any attributions. No one knows what others are thinking unless it is written in a diary or letter or shared with another person who wrote it down. This is a historical novel; it is not history.

And I suspect his other books are just as carelessly researched.
