Sad but true. submitted by tbbrown76 on July 13, 2014, 12:03pm A must read.
Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes submitted by Varshini on July 20, 2019, 7:52pm Definitely recommend this to beginning readers. I read this book in first grade and still remember it. That’s how much it resonated with me. Great story and great life lesson. 5/5 stars.
Sad submitted by chowcy on August 28, 2020, 6:12pm This is a sad book, but well-written. It reads as a story of hope because Sadako is making paper cranes, but (spoilers) there is no real miracle recovery in the end.
Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes submitted by SBNB on August 7, 2021, 1:39pm This is a great story. Short, concise, sad, and moving. Based on the life of a real Japanese girl, this is a great historical book for kids.
