Worth reading again and again. My husband had fond memories of it from his childhood before we started reading it to our kids.

Interesting author submitted by jibkidder on July 22, 2022, 10:20pm Esphyr was an avant garde artist who shared her first children's book (with collaged artwork) "Mary and the Poodies" with the Gertrude Stein influenced Margaret Wise Brown, and, as a result, opened up a new career path. In here later art career, she made things out of typewriter parts.
