It's all over, but what should you do next? submitted by cherylo on July 1, 2011, 10:07pm When the wolves come out of the walls, it's all over, as everyone knows. But what happens next? And isn't there a pig puppet to rescue anyway? Intriguing fairy tale to share with your child, and very interesting art.

Bizarre, Creepy, Fun submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on August 30, 2014, 2:54am If I was a little kid, I'm not sure I'd be able to get past the rather creepy and unsettling beginning of this book - but I am a big Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean fan, so I definitely had to pick it up. It does start out in a scary way, but becomes a story of creativity and empowerment with some charming silliness along the way.

surreal and spooky submitted by camelsamba on June 30, 2017, 9:00pm Kind of surreal, kind of spooky (both the story and the artwork). Starts out sinister but the tables turn and fears are vanquished.

Just the right amount of freaky submitted by yorkj on July 10, 2018, 12:53am I pre-read this book to make sure my four and eight year olds could handle it. I was surprised and intrigued by the story. It’s a bit scary (not a good choice for the tender soul), but my kids are into that sort of thing, as long as it doesn’t leave them feeling unsettled. The artwork is so unusual and accurately expressive of the emotions in each moment. The circular story left my kids feeling amused. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great submitted by anacoluthon on July 12, 2018, 9:36am Neil Gaiman is a masterful author, especially of creepy kids' stories
