Still a Christmas classic submitted by delaflynn on August 29, 2021, 3:17am I've known this story for over 40 years. I've personally read it at least 10 times. This past Christmas I shared it with my young child (who was just 7 years old). It's a classic - perhaps the young couple are a bit foolish but the lesson learned is worth it.
