Good classic, but read the sequel! submitted by teri on July 11, 2023, 2:23pm A nice classic tale - but did you ever wonder what happened to the seventh brother, who received his sister's unfinished nettle shirt, and ended up with a swan's wing for one arm?
Nicholas Stuart Gray imagines "the rest of the story", and brings it to life.
For young adults and up, it was written in 1984.
Copies of the book are hard to find (try MelCat), but well worth it!
The Seventh Swan by Nicholas Stuart Gray - a nice complement to the original story.
