COMMUNITY REVIEWS

The no gimmicks way to bring your best self to the dating table submitted by ccrose on July 12, 2019, 5:01pm I appreciated the consistent focus on your best self. Ideally, before you conceive a baby, you get your health in order, your mind paying attention to the fears and work on yourself. This book asks that you go within before you really start any efforts, to figure out how you can stay yourself and still love another. A chapter title, for instance: “Be Guided by Spirit, Not Ego.” The whole first section is called “Preparation for Love.”
That makes sense to me since i’ve been out of the love stuff a long time. It’s like preparing for a big undertaking of any kind; take time to listen to your heart muttering, ok, here she goes again.
