Dr. Seuss submitted by candyceh811 on July 26, 2015, 9:49pm This is a great Dr. Seuss book that helps kids use their imagination.
Wonderful submitted by sarai koster-mockeridge on August 2, 2015, 8:10pm Wonderful book about the power of imagination.
Flawed submitted by ssands on September 12, 2016, 2:28pm This book has GREAT rhymes and is very imaginative. Unfortunately, it also implies that the people who live in other places are very much "other." The worst, in my opinion, is the suggestion that one of these exotic people could be captured to be brought back with the exotic creature, apparently to be placed in the zoo alongside. It doesn't just make fun of Asians and Africans, but also Poles and Russians. Be prepared to either edit as you read or for a discussion with your child about racism.
One of my favorites as a kid.

Somehow we missed it with our daughter. She was more of a Pooh fan.
Nice rhyming, crazy art and animals. What's not to like? Recommended.

Kids like it submitted by Aimless on July 24, 2019, 6:24pm They thought it was funny
My kid liked it submitted by Richard Lee Pierre on August 18, 2019, 9:36am It’s full of good old Dr. seuss rhymes and zany creatures
from my 8-year old submitted by robinfowler on July 31, 2020, 10:17am It's a good book. It doesn't really have a message, but it has a lot of funny creatures and a kid who runs the zoo and is telling you all the things he'd do. The pictures are very good and the rhymes and the names of the creatures.
