Alex McKnight book 1 submitted by pamhockey25 on July 1, 2023, 10:53am Book one in the Alex McKnight series sets up former Detroit cop living in Paradise. Alex has a bullet lodged near his heart and lost his partner in a shooting that haunts him 14 years later. The man who killed his partner is behind bars, but McKnight is getting clues that are making him think that maybe the killer is no longer there. I enjoyed the Michigan elements to the book with the descriptions of the UP. Alex is an interesting character and I look forward to reading more books in the series.
