When the spirit of Lara's great-aunt Sadie-a feisty, demanding girl with firm ideas about fashion, love, and the right way to dance-mysteriously appears, she has one last request: Lara must find a missing necklace that had been in Sadie's possession for more than seventy-five years, and Sadie cannot rest without it. Never mind that Lara has her own problems--which Sadie could care less about. Will this sparring duo ever find what they're after?

pleasantly hilarious submitted by sumsaylor on July 15, 2015, 9:21pm I really, really loved this one! It was over-the-top in an absolutely perfect, hilarious way that made reading it so much fun.

Wonderful submitted by kelleyc on June 17, 2016, 5:56pm This is my absolutely favorite Sophie Kinsella book. Not only is the main character in Kinsella's traditional - but perfectly done - somewhat dreamy, pathless girl, but the new best friend she finds is a perfect example of a powerful woman who doesn't let anything get in her way. Funny and empowering, I'd recommend this to anyone.

Fresh and witty writing submitted by Brownize on August 27, 2020, 8:27pm This book had me laughing out loud on almost very page. The writing is fresh and witty and it's like having a conversation with a best friend. Love this book and it's message about empowerment and even the revelation of how we all grow old but are young 20-somethings dancing inside.

a rom com book, perfect light read submitted by Aimless on August 1, 2022, 11:20am one of the best beach reads out there.
