Creative Basic Crochet submitted by BookNerd on June 14, 2014, 12:06am Basic stitches create personalized dolls. Getting the details (hair, eyes, mouth) takes a bit more effort to bring out the character of your subject.

Give it a try! submitted by sara on June 18, 2015, 9:12am I used the basic doll form to make my own amigurumi caricature doll of a friend. Very easy and clear directions. The dolls in the book are amazing- you don't need to read the captions to recognize which famous person the doll represents. The only trouble I had was making the face and hair look as good as the examples in the book.
