Interrupted Journey -- Journey to Siegfried -- At Home and Abroad.
Sir Stafford Nye's flight home from Malaya takes an unprecedented twist when a young woman confides in him that someone is trying to kill her. In a moment of weakness, he agrees to lend her his passport. Unwittingly, the diplomat has put his own life on the line. When he meets the mystery woman again, she is a different person, and he finds himself drawn into a battle against an invisible?and altogether more dangerous?enemy. . . .

Doesn't make sense! submitted by airgood on June 24, 2014, 12:46pm Passenger to Frankfurt is a pretty big disappointment for Agatha Christie lovers. The plot doesn't make a lot of sense and and character are introduced in the beginning then never mentioned again. Christie wrote this later in her career, and its quality reflects her mental decline.

For Very Forgiving Christie Fans Only submitted by nbauer on April 20, 2019, 4:30am This starts out so promising: A laconic, unlikely hero, a strong woman in distress (no damsel, this one), and one of those wonderful sensible old ladies that AC does so well. Unfortunately, the points that the plot hinges on are vague, the motives lazy, and the "villain"—at least the most obvious one—is cheaply drawn. There's a mess of a plot for world domination in which everyone keeps humming Wagner, and what has to be some of AC's clumsiest exposition ever. Even worse, about 2/3 of the way through, we abandon the most interesting characters to spend what's left of the novel with a bunch of stereotypes. I love Christie, and had downloaded this one to read on a plane to...Frankfurt! But I really finished it only because I was cheering for her to unclog the kitchen sink she'd thrown a whole lot of stuff into. Do not feel bad about skipping this one.
