COMMUNITY REVIEWS

The Collected Short Stories of Saki submitted by James C. Clark on December 26, 2011, 2:23pm Hector Hugh Munro, aka Saki, is a master of the short story. He writes with a sense of wit and irony that seem quite current, although his birth in 1870 and subsequent death during WWI place him in a different era entirely. But don't let his age put you off. Each story is a gem in its own right, and well worth the reading. One that I liked very much was The Reticence of Lady Anne, but why take the word of someone obviously under the influence of Saki? Check out the library's copy, pick a favorite story or two of your own, and then order your own copy to treasure forever. Yes, this volume of his short stories is still available. Hurrah!
