In a distant future, eighteen-year-old Lugh is kidnapped, and while his twin sister Saba and nine-year-old Emmi are trailing him across bleak Sandsea they are captured, too, and taken to brutal Hopetown, where Saba is forced to be a cage fighter until new friends help plan an escape.

Five stars!

One of the most well-written books I have ever read.
I was at first a little worried about the way the author wrote it with no quotation marks and I thought the accent might be a little much, but it was not. The wording flows naturally despite the fact that it was so strange, but I thought she pulled it off really well
a MILLION times better than Hunger Games
better than Hunger games submitted by leett on July 4, 2013, 3:22pm I really loved this book. She is trying to find her bother and finds a lover on the way.
Accent submitted by Midnight on July 5, 2013, 12:37pm I thought the accent was a little too much. Most of the time, I had to reread it three times just so I could understand what they said.
