What is a psychopath? -- Evil brewing -- The brain of a killer -- Bloodlines -- A third leg to stand on -- Going public -- Love and other abstractions -- A party in my brain -- Can you change a psychopath? -- Why do psychopaths exist?
A compelling career memoir by an award-winning neuroscientist describes how while studying his own family's brain scans for research he made the disturbing discovery that his own reflected a pattern he recognized from those in the brains of serial killers, a finding that offered new insights into the role of biology in behavior.

A Narcissist, certainly submitted by GJBarnett2 on December 23, 2019, 10:53pm Fallon's premise is that although he has neurological test results classic for a psychopath, he is not one such but rather is a "presocial psychopath" because he lacked what he has come to regard as "the third leg of the stool," childhood experiences, typically abusive victimization without which he believes psychopathic propensities do no become activated. Perhaps. Nonetheless, it is clear that whether or not he is a psychopath or whatever, he is certainly a narcissist. The clinical and neurological chapters may be worth a read; the biographical not.
