Good for teaching, but a dry read for the grown ups submitted by rea2mill on June 20, 2022, 9:48am There’s a whole series of these books and they all read very similarly. They’re straight forward and give easy to understand information about a topic with pictures to match making them an ideal teaching tool for information that’s brand new to your littlest learners. But they’re not very engaging. Fortunately they’re short so you won’t loose your kids attention and they will learn about Chinese New Year. Just follow it up with a more story based Chinese New Year book and you’re golden.
