Tense Finale submitted by punsingh on August 1, 2016, 7:52am This book completes the trilogy of Detective Hodges mysteries. While the first two books were straightforward detective stories with Stephen King's style of character development, in this book, you can see the delight with which he introduces his trademark supernatural and metaphysical elements. His references to popular cultural events are up to date with him invoking the 2016 presidential election in this book. It's not his best-written book because you can sense a little bit of speed in his words and phrases, and maybe a slight lack of proper editing. Otherwise, an amazing thriller that will keep you turning the pages!
