Meh submitted by fdaudi on June 19, 2011, 12:06pm Although this series was overall very good I was disappointed with the last book. It felt as if the author had ran out of steam. He didn't answer many of the questions that throughout the book came up. I was looking for a more complete ending that I felt was not received.

ehhh submitted by pbapat on July 12, 2011, 11:03am its ok... it didn't tie up all the loose ends tho... that was dissapointing

Ending? submitted by Morgsush on June 17, 2012, 8:58pm I LOVE this series but it seemed like the ending came really fast. It didn't really answer any of the questions I had, only gave me more to wonder about.

hmmmm..... submitted by shalinigurl on July 2, 2012, 3:32pm It's an oddball in the series that's all i can say

ok submitted by watermelon on July 14, 2012, 3:30pm for such a great series, i wasnt thrilled with the way it ended. there are so many mysteries left unsolved.

ok submitted by khaleela11 on October 20, 2015, 4:15pm I read the series of unfortunate events I am almost done with book 11 The Grim Grotto totally good book

Great finish to the series! submitted by Xris on August 28, 2018, 8:57pm Great series for elementary and middle school kids, especially if they're okay with bad things happening to the main characters. In this thirteenth book, the kids are still on the run and wash up on an island, but Count Olaf is washed up on the island as well. The kids find out if they can find their parents, or guardians that will keep them safe.

More questions that answers, and that's a good thing submitted by bfields on June 14, 2020, 9:41am I love a tangled mystery brought to a satisfying conclusion as much as anyone else.

But it's also important to be reminded that mysteries don't usually have tidy conclusions, that our deep need to feel we're one of the good guys can lead us astray, and that we can't avoid ambiguity.

WHAT an ending! submitted by charbutcool on July 8, 2022, 10:46pm certainly unexpected , and not the most satisfying conclusion, but a noble one nonetheless
