Highly recommended! submitted by fairytale on August 13, 2011, 3:21pm I love this book! I learned how to make chocolate pudding from scratch from this book and it was easier than I ever expected! Highly recommend this book.

Practical submitted by megu11 on August 2, 2015, 12:40pm This book has great, practical tips. I especially appreciated the simplicity with which the author approaches everything. She has great tips and how-tos for shopping on a budget. Her recipes are also very simple, and don't take much time, and are easy to reinterpret in your own way with whatever spices you have on hand. Highly recommended!

Organic submitted by Clown81 on August 25, 2019, 7:49pm Up my alley.

helpful, but a little dated, now submitted by katehutchens on June 18, 2022, 4:38pm Though still full of solid tips, many of the strategies (and of course the presumed price-points) don't serve in the new grocery context amid/after the pandemic.
