Good series submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on August 12, 2018, 10:58am I read the first three of this (I expect) set of four (Under Her Skin, Lip Service, and Straight from the Hip).

Mostly, I liked this series. It's a romance series about three sisters. The stories are character-driven, believable, and follow pretty well from the women's histories and the events of the stories. An ongoing storyline (a vindictive newly-discovered half-brother) carries across all three books and will hopefully wrap up in the fourth, but each novel completes one sister's story nicely. (Gotta love when a book doesn't leave you hanging.)

My only two complaints are these: First, that I didn't realize there would be a fourth book (focused on the sisters' friend) and so really expected the half-brother's story to resolve in the 3rd. That was disappointing! (And entirely my fault, of course.)

My second complaint is that it seems that every character has some deep dark traumatic secret that haunts them. It makes sense for the three sisters. But for every one of the heroes? And the friend? And the half-brother?

Regardless, if you enjoy romances, this set is worth your time.
