Highly recommend submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on June 18, 2021, 8:55pm I'm much more a fan of long, engrossing stories than short essays, but this collection was amazing. It's from the 1950's and 2000's NPR radio series. I found many of the 1950's stories to be written in a more formal way that was just slightly harder to read for pleasure, but the collection was insightful, fun, brilliant, and poignant in turn.

If you like shorter writings, I highly recommend it.
