Dead Bird submitted by jibkidder on June 21, 2022, 11:15am This, I believe, was only published posthumously, and it is a masterpiece from a genius of children's literature. There are several different editions with different illustrators, and none of the illustrations are perfect. But this book is amazing, especially the song they sing to the dead bird.
