Ok submitted by willow on July 22, 2016, 2:43pm This book is definitely in favor of quite a short hair cut and is a bit....rude in describing the boy with long hair. It's not my favorite book about haircuts. Somehow it seems kind of old fashioned (as in the sort of thing olde people said in the 1960s when seeing the Beatles).

Gentle Humor submitted by kathscot on August 3, 2019, 3:32pm It is funny how the haircut is compared to mowing a lawn, pruning a tree and clipping a dog.

old fashioned submitted by FordAlpha on August 22, 2019, 10:35pm I thought this story was really cute, sweet, and funny (although I definitely sympathized with the boy), but my kids weren't interested in it at all. I guess the old-fashioned text and illustrations just didn't capture their attention.
