Ghostly submitted by mysterio on June 18, 2011, 9:49pm Ghostly

Hmmm... submitted by colebr on August 15, 2012, 12:56pm I was really excited to read this book. Everyone was saying how excellent it was and everything, and usually I agree with the general consensus when it comes to books. But this one. Oh my goodness. And not in a good way. It was a struggle to read as far as I did. Ultimately I couldn't finish this book. The main character just kept making stupid decisions and I really felt like the whole story was drawn out way too long anyway. The thing that turned me off the most about this book was the fact that every character in it was just so unobservant, which made the story painful to read.

Meh submitted by yugure on July 15, 2013, 9:27am I didn't know a book about secret passageways and handsome mysterious men and dancing princesses and magicked castles could be so boring. I wanted to like it for all the elements involved, but the execution was not well done. It took way too long for the interesting part of the story to begin; the novel should have started about fifty pages in. Then there seemed to be a lot of nothing happening between all the other interesting parts. Too many characters make the story feel cluttered, and the villain is so flat that he's laughable. The romance subplots were predictable and bland. Not recommended.
