Pretty Cool submitted by seadocks on August 2, 2011, 8:29am Going into this book my expectations were not great. A friend from work had pre-ordered it and then told me she only made like 3 recipes from it and returned it. So I got it from the library and tried it out. I thought it was very good. All of the recipes I have made to this point in time have been good. They weren't mind blowing, but they didn't suck either. I think the best part is you are making something yourself with out any weird additives. Plus my kids think these things are awesome and that is a big plus when you compare the sugar to the yellow box stuff in the store. While I did not go out and buy the thing right away, I did memorize a few of the recipes to use over and over. I suppose that means you should stop reading this and add the book to your request list, like right now dude.

Summertime staples submitted by bec on June 11, 2021, 12:43pm I bought a set of molds and turned to this book for help with what to do with them. The recipes are simple, there's a lot of variety in flavors, and it's a great way to have your ice pop and eat it, too (without a bunch of added sugar). It turns out that you don't really need recipes to make a good paleta or ice pop, but this book is a great place to start and a great inspiration.
