Don't Judge a Book By It's Cover submitted by oftheshaw on January 19, 2011, 1:49pm For a book entitled, "Tree Houses by Architects," it showcases very few tree houses. There are only a few true tree houses displayed, and those that are included have very little information about the location, design, or origin of the structures. The book contains very little information on actual treehouses, or their architects. The true tree structures are reserved for a section labeled "Classic Tree Houses" that is more of an addendum at the end of the book.

That being said, the work displayed is beautiful, and most of the projects are wonderful examples of structures that live in harmony with their surroundings. However, even these are explained by large, professional pictures only, and its lack of information amounts to this being a beautiful coffee table book.

tree houses submitted by avrogers1 on August 9, 2017, 5:26pm I was disappointed that a lot of the houses were not infact built in trees. Most of them were just built around them, some we're at least elivated. I did enjoy that they included drawings of plans for a few of the houses and that there Were a lot of big color photos. They photographed the houses really well. Overall, it was a good book, but much less informative than I thought it would be.
