enjoyable submitted by camelsamba on July 28, 2011, 2:25pm I enjoyed this book. Although it's written in a style to suggest it reflects reality at the time, it probably doesn't. But wouldn't you just love to have that sort of freedom to romp around the countryside, finding adventures, occasionally helping people, winning friends and influencing people?

I made the mistake of reading a few commentaries before I finished the book, so the surprise in the last chapter was kind of blown. But overall, enjoyable.

A childhood favorite submitted by rkraut on August 31, 2015, 10:02pm This is a book that I really enjoyed as a child. I'm re-reading it now and I like it now too!
