A sequel of sorts, involving Elizabeth & Darcy's five teenaged daughters and their introduction to London. The Darcy's are not in the book at all, conveniently traveling in the Near East, but some other minor characters from Pride & Prejudice are there - Fitzwilliam, flakey sister Lydia (with Wickham killed off), and Mr. & Mrs. Gardiner.
This was a slow but rather relaxing read, but a few parts just didn't seem right. I didn't hate it, but I certainly didn't love it. Mostly it made want to read the original again.
