Cute book submitted by jszchen on August 19, 2011, 9:02am The Mercy Watson series is great. The books are very entertaining for both young and old. Finally something got my daughter interested in reading. Wish it did not take me so long to discover it. Mercy sure can get into trouble.

Good submitted by rimpopu on August 2, 2014, 9:12pm Mercy Watson is the name of the pet pig, for those who are new to this series. She like adventure and her curiosity lands her into trouble often that tends to lend humor to the story. Its a good book for young readers who are venturing into chapter books. There is not much of a story line, and has several repetitions which may be boring for older kids or kids who have started reading more serious books with good story lines.

Mercy Watson Goes for a Ride submitted by quynhssong on July 26, 2022, 7:21pm This had me belly laughing!!! I read it with my 6 year old cousin over FaceTime, as we were reading the series together. She really liked it, and even checked it out from her own local library in Maryland! Definitely recommend. Careful, as this is a chapter book, and for example, 3 year olds may get bored of all of the words and not as many pictures. There are still some cute illustrations, though!
