interesting read submitted by 21621031390949 on August 1, 2016, 7:22pm This is an interesting biography about the Kennedy daughter who was just a little "slow." She was well loved in the family, but the final "treatment" they attempted was horrific and had tragic results. Shame on Rose K for abandoning her daughter. Today, Rose would have been able to graduate from high school and gone on to a productive life in a skilled trade such as child care or hair cutting. So sad that she was treated as a defective being.

Sad submitted by SadieRose on July 24, 2018, 12:05am I knew the history behind what happened to Rose Kennedy. This book detailed the history behind the decision Joe made the tragic day to approve his daughter's lobotomy. It truly is a horrible true story. The Kennedy daughter was not up to Kennedy's high standards. They were afraid she would embarrass the family name.
