OK submitted by marisal on July 7, 2012, 10:28am I liked this book but for me it was a bit hard to get into. It wasn't the best book i've ever read but it was still pretty good.
Anne's world during WWI submitted by tuttlium on June 27, 2023, 10:38am This book hits all of the classic Montgomery notes -- a gentle romance, tales of small town living, a beautiful heroine who nevertheless is a real human being. It's funny that Montgomery's books are seen as sunny and happy, because there are always tragedies. WWI is the tragedy in this book, and no one emerges unscathed. This is probably my favorite of the "Anne" series in part because of that historical grounding.
