Growing and teaching submitted by Bookbird on June 19, 2012, 5:01pm Anne is grown, and she is teaching at a school. Marilla also adopted twins. A boy and a girl. Anne takes care of them. Her thinking is more "mature" at this point, which means she is not thinking her fantasies most of the time.

not as charming submitted by camelsamba on August 30, 2020, 11:01pm In my opinion, this was not as charming as Anne of Green Gables. Perhaps it is because she is trying to hard to be "mature" - I preferred the whimsical Anne of a few years prior.
