boring submitted by lawrencekl57 on September 25, 2013, 7:07pm This is one of the most pointless books that I have ever read. I finished it, but don't know why I bothered.

They Really are Back submitted by Judeyblu on July 24, 2015, 8:06pm This was a very very good story.

I was interested in it because it is the basis for a TV series, the commercials catch my eye but I’ve never watched the show.

Now, I have no desire for the show, since the book perfectly closed the story for me. Great character development, enough humor to lighten the plot but not overwhelm it.

What would YOU do if those that died started walking back into their old hometown? What problems could arise when the population doubled or tripled? What words were left unsaid? How do old grievances get resolved?

Faith, family, community, patriotism, greed, anger, fear: all the emotions are explored and woven into this book.
