COMMUNITY REVIEWS

American-style baked goods written for the British audience submitted by willow on July 25, 2016, 10:00am This is a slightly weird book. It is written by an American who lives in the UK, and contains many traditional American sweets, reinterpreted or introduced to the British audience. As such, it doesn't contain much that is new or exciting for the American reader. It is a pretty book. I tried the butternut squash quiche and enjoyed it.

Edit: She has an enthusiasm for the taste of food, and a comfort with what one might call messiness, that make it quite different from the science manual type books. She is now famous for making Prince Harry and Megan Markle’s wedding cake.
