Best for an intermediate+ programmer submitted by Matt Weber on March 6, 2017, 6:17am I'm a fairly novice Python programmer. I'm working on a home/DIY project for which I need the computer to grab one particular bit of data from a website every minute or so. Despite my novice skills, I had hoped I'd be able to "muddle through" with the help of this book. That turned out not to be true. I can follow the Python parts of this book well enough, but it presumes a level of knowledge of HTML that I just don't have. It turns out I need that knowledge in order to understand what is going on on the website I want the computer to access, so I can tell the computer how to navigate it. The book also tosses in lots of programming ideas that are no doubt familiar to experienced programmers, but new to me, and it doesn't define them. So I feel lost a lot. I'm still hoping to rescue my project, but will be looking elsewhere for help. This book is best suited to someone who is at least an intermediate level programmer with some familiarity with HTML.
