Familiar Theme, Funny Story submitted by KPNF on August 4, 2018, 2:53pm The story has a theme that is familiar in children’s books: an animal fears doing something that it is expected to do by nature. Here, a penguin fears swimming. However, the author offers a fresh and humorous take on the theme in the character of Archie, who hides his one fear by doing daredevil stunts. Enjoyable for grownups and kids!
