Awesome book submitted by kkellis on July 20, 2018, 9:00pm This book was my introduction to the world of Anne McCaffrey - I read it as a sophomore in high school and was hooked. Dragonflight is the first book introducing the planet of Pern, and the wonderful dragons (and people) that inhabit it. Highly recommend!

Engrossing submitted by hduke on June 22, 2019, 11:43am The story and world of Pern are quick to pull you in, and make it hard to leave. While not my favorite book set on Pern, Dragonflight is an excellent introduction.
