Particularly perfect for the adventuring princess! submitted by jiac on August 25, 2017, 9:54pm This book was a joy to read for me as well as my daughter. The pictures captivated her attention and gave enough support to read some of the trickier words. I love the vocabulary in these books as well. They don't shy away from harder words, bu t use them in repetitive and expected ways so my young reader really latched on to their use rather than being daunted. Each monster fight has moves aptly named and had me looking forward to reading for the wordplay.

Definitely a read together at the first grade level, but easy enough where my daughter could take on the majority of the reading.

Twinkle Twinkle Little SMASH! submitted by aynsley on June 18, 2021, 5:25pm I like that it's Princess Magnolia's birthday. This book made me and my mommy laugh! My favorite monster was the pink one. I named my giant stuffed horse Frimplepants!

Fantastic book submitted by erksnerks on June 30, 2021, 9:22pm It is so nice that every time the alarm of princess magnolia rings she says that there is a game and how she always sneaks out of them. For example when there was the labyrinth game she went out a secret door with frimple pants and when she plays hide and seek she hides in her closet and almost gets caught by sneezewort because she blends in so well with everything.

Short chapter book submitted by TLW1998 on June 21, 2022, 11:45am My 5-6 year old daughter loves to read these books. They are easy to read beginning chapter books with few words on each page. A quick read about a Princess who changes her identity to fight monsters. This one has a Princess party where she has to leave unnoticed.
