Not perfect submitted by willow on August 28, 2016, 9:41pm I am on the lookout for a historical atlas with maps of places during various time periods. I decided to check some of them out of the library to get a closer look before buying. This item, which is quite affordable priced, is a very slim paperback, and therefore does not require a bodybuilder's muscles to lift. Great! However, the atlas (published in 2015) seems to be just reprints of maps published in earlier editions -- e.g. most people don't write "Moslem" anymore. So I don't think they are really updating much in this historical volume.

The biggest problem is that the print on the maps is TINY! You need to have amazing vision to read city names. This was a crushing blow.
