Unique voice and world submitted by marielle on July 1, 2011, 12:25pm I read a lot and consequently I get tired of the same old voice and plot devices. <i>The Quantum Thief</i> is something <i>new</i>. The voice and world are elegant, for one. It also has many references to popular culture (or rather, gamer culture) and newer physics, like quantum entanglement and computing.

All that is, to some extent, veneer; at the core of this story is a mystery. A man must put together his memories of himself, and another must deduce the other's purpose.

Sci fi readers, mystery readers, and game players all would enjoy this story.
