A moving, inspirational book about immigrant gardeners and their connection to the land. Cambodians, Japanese, Native Americans, Black Americans - many who escaped or lived through extreme adversity - come to find comfort through gardens of the foods they remember from the past.
People interested in cultures, gardens, and history, might want to give this book a chance. The stories are both informative and moving.
