Classic Children's Book submitted by ks1287 on July 23, 2013, 6:58pm I was pretty amused when I read the original Curious George to my daughter. You can definitely tell it was written in a much different era (published in 1940)... George goes to jail for placing a prank call to the fire department at one point and goes to live in a zoo at the end. Not exactly what I thought happened to George! Even so, it's a classic children's book and my almost 2-year-old sat through the entire book although it was a little longer than what shes' used to reading. She really enjoyed it!
