mostly character vs. romance submitted by mowjac on July 16, 2018, 9:37am If you are reading the Bridgerton family series, this one is ties up some loose ends regarding a major secondary character. The crux of the relationship is seeing a familiar face with new eyes and finding a vocation, the intimacy is mild for the genre and the characters are amiable.

lightweight, fun book submitted by amym on August 15, 2022, 10:09pm I have only read a handful of romances in my life, but I enjoyed this book. The characters are all very likeable and the romance is sweet. It's nice how much the two main characters like and enjoy each other.

Fun! submitted by emroon on July 7, 2023, 2:19pm If you like a friends-to-lovers romance novel this is a nice one. I read it ahead of the third series of the TV show to see what was coming. I didn't love the emphasis on Penelope's weight loss/glow up but it was a sweet romance nonetheless and a nice wrap up to a major subplot in the series.
