Good submitted by 0liviap0pp on July 1, 2011, 6:52am A good book. C.S. Lewis does a great job.

Wonderful! submitted by adilaura on July 1, 2011, 7:10pm Another of CS Lewis's great novels. The heros of this story descend deep underground to conquer the forces of evil and save Narnia

cool submitted by sauerr on July 7, 2011, 4:49pm good series

good submitted by ColeenT on July 15, 2011, 12:17pm good book

centaurs submitted by camelsamba on July 28, 2011, 2:06pm The incident with the centaurs reminded me of similar things in Harry Potter. Probably people who read lots of mythology as a youngster already knew all about characteristics of centaurs, but I did not, so it was nice to see the reinforcement. [There have been a few other places in the Chronicles where I thought "hey, i wonder if JKR was thinking of this when she wrote X, or if there's some other source behind both of them?"]

C.S. Luis is your pusher submitted by ferdoble on July 31, 2011, 9:13pm The first book in this series is wonderful and imaginative. The following are still pretty good, but they get increasingly pushy on the religious front. By the end it just feels like I’m being yelled at by a priest, who is telling me to go to church.

The audio books were orinally narrated by Patrick Stuart, who does a fantastic job, I recommend them if you can find them.

Pheonix submitted by squijum on July 16, 2012, 4:18pm This one may be my favorite in the series.

scariest in series submitted by mtrax on August 1, 2014, 8:57am I think this is the scariest book in the series. Being bound to the silver chair, and the thrilling but frightening escape to the Overworld, make this the darkest book in the series.

Different, but good submitted by SolaireFQ on August 27, 2016, 11:40am The feel of this narnia book is different, but it is still a fun read.

Lunar flavour submitted by terpsichore17 on July 24, 2017, 10:15pm Eustace returns, bringing schoolmate Jill Pole, for a journey to save the prince of Narnia from enchantment by following signs Aslan has given them. The hilariously morose marsh-wiggle Puddleglum guides them through the worst of the snow and from the most dangerous of giants.

Unlike Prince Caspian's battles against the Telmarines, the conflict of this book is one of mind and spirit: the Green Witch (before pulling a Lamia) has ensnared the prince so that he appears insane, and would win others over through cunning - but false! - arguments.

More important than ever.

Good submitted by zmclaugh on August 2, 2018, 5:38pm Some very scary moments in this one!

5 star, but... submitted by thesrays on August 25, 2019, 7:39pm this is my least favorite in the Chronicles of Narnia series.

Different tone submitted by Princess Cimorene on July 21, 2020, 12:15am I don't remember all the details, but the atmosphere of this book really lingers for me. I love the tone of this one and how different it is from the other books.

I liked it submitted by h2oskiqueen on July 16, 2021, 2:33pm And am excited to finish the series!

A departure from the books before submitted by KatieD on August 6, 2021, 3:17pm This book has a darker tone than the ones before, in my opinion, but it was still a great read. I enjoyed it when I read it as a kid and then reread it as an adult.
