good submitted by michael007 on July 2, 2013, 10:54am How the light gets in is a good book!

Compelling book submitted by amym on June 25, 2015, 11:12am There were a lot of holes in the main events of this book, but it was so compelling that I was more than happy to disbelief. It explained several characters' motivations that had me somewhat baffled in earlier books, and explained more about the shoot-out in the factory that has been in the last four or so books. Great characters, great plotting (even with the holes), and thoroughly enjoyable, as all Louise Penny's books are.

Not bad submitted by Jessamynrm on July 16, 2019, 12:23pm Occasionally overly sentimental and emotional, but an otherwise interesting read with decent character development.

Outstanding submitted by Es Star on January 8, 2021, 2:34pm I am reading her series in order, and this is my favorite book so far! The book was very touchingly human.
I love the way she portrays the characters. A very enjoyable read, for sure.

what an ending submitted by camelsamba on June 30, 2021, 5:41pm Wow. What an ending! I had to go back and listen to the last couple of chapters a second time. (And at points in the middle, I went back and listened again to the first two, to straighten out names and details.)

Another good one! submitted by ilenekroll on July 29, 2021, 10:49pm I love this whole series! I find them very unpredictable.
