COMMUNITY REVIEWS

My favorite in the series! submitted by VanCancue on June 20, 2018, 6:49pm This story is centered around a girl after being exposed to abuse finds strength and independence with the help of another strong female balanced character who in her youth underwent some difficulties and entrapment of her own.
I love this series and as you continue to read these books you'll come to understand the key characters constantly battle the "evil", created by the ill will of other beings. I simply love her books. As you read on in the cycle the story draws you deeper in to 'evils' of human psyche in order to bring about awareness of prejudices and destructive nature of these evils to both lving beings and nature.

The best in the series submitted by bethsw on June 29, 2023, 1:26pm I loved the whole series but this was my favorite. The author wrote the first three books, then after a long hiatus, which included raising a family, she wrote this one, and it's immediately clear that she had grown as an author and even in her views on relationships and family during that time. I also enjoyed that the later trio of books have such strong female characters, and continue in her epic and poetic writing style.
