Wonderful food for thought submitted by Tina Mahler on July 10, 2018, 2:44pm This is a great summer read. The author takes on many issues familiar to women of a certain age, aging parents, husbands cheating with younger women, and interactions with tween girls. The writing is deceptive in it's apparent simplicity. The plot line is fairly standard, but fun non the less. I really wish I could see some of the needle work described, the author paints a wonderful image. I read another of her book, The Blazing World, which is also amazing, but if you are hesitant to delve into that book, this is a nice introduction to the author.
