Helpful intro book submitted by ckfinzel on July 2, 2017, 8:30pm As someone who may consider adoption in the future, I found the book helpful as a wading-in point, even though the intended audience is not prospective parents. It was a nice, short, easily digestible summation of adoption and the type of decisions people make and possible routes people take in growing their families. It had things to think about that hadn't crossed my radar yet, but wasn't so heavy as to bog me down with logistics. As someone who's not an adoptive parent, it has some helpful info about ways you can support (or at the very least not hinder) your loved ones in their adoption process.
